manic monday

If you could change anything about the way you were raised, what would it be and why?

I would have choosen another mother.
One who really cared about me. (I've been abused physically and mentally)

Do you think that the world will be a better or a worse place 100 years from now?

I hope it's a better place.
More attention for what children really need, more care for nature.
Less ego... less looking doen on people.
And certainly less war.

But can people really change?

At the beginning of a relationship, do you trust your new partner unless there is something specific to make you do otherwise, or do you withhold your trust until he/she has earned it?

I trust people.
I can't withhold trust.

But I've paid for it. A lot.

Hi! It's Angela again. :) I found you through your other blog and the Fall Giveaway and wanted to say hi. I mentioned there that I wanted to find out where you are in case I have been there. I've been to Amsterdam, Holland once in the mid 80's! :) I liked it.

I was so sad when I read this post about how your mom treated you. Isn't it special though how you have special children that need tons of love? All children, all people need love, but you got Extra special children. :) I have a special son. Of course if I'd been asked, I'd have asked for him to be "normal". But I am so thankful for him and how he teaches me to take nothing for granted. Things don't come easily for him, and he teaches me pererverance too. :) Thank God that YOU got to be the mom of your sweeties so they can be treated the way you wanted to be treated by your mom. :) You get to start a whole new legacy. :)

By the way, have you heard that story about how having a special child is like going to Holland when you were planning on going to Italy? I never understood it because I have been to Holland AND Italy in real life, and I loved Holland. If I had to pick one to live in, I'd pick Holland. :) Enjoy it.
